Welcome to Beacon of Hope Ministries!

I love lighthouses and I see them as a representation of Christ: A strong tower whose light shines bright, guiding in the ships at sea, and withstands crashing waves in the midst of storms. I once read that one lighthouse can guide in 100 ships. That raises a question to me, "What does the light of Jesus in us do for others?"

God gave me a picture of the logo you see here with the explanation, "Taking the light of Jesus to the nations through medical missions." When God called me to Mozambique, I came as a nurse to help start clinics. God had a bigger plan and while working in the clinic at Iris Ministries, I began to have a heart for the youth. God gave me a vision of a transition house to help train these youth with life skills, continued discipleship, understanding family life and love, as many have little hope of a future.

Our purpose and goal is to disciple, teach life skills for growth as members of healthy families, help them complete their education and obtain jobs. In the future, we plan to reach out to our community by sharing the gospel through sports programs and evangelism, and get involved with families to plant gardens and share Jesus with them, as we want the light of Jesus to shine in us everywhere we go.

Mozambique, like other nations, have many strongholds I want to see broken. God is going to use the youth to change Mozambique and other nations. God is using youth all over the world because they are the next generation. I believe in these youth and I love being a part of God's vision and consider it a privilege to work with them.

The light of Jesus in us will make a difference in others lives. I am and will always be a nurse and will use medicine to minister to others. Medicine is not just in the physical; we are all nurses and doctors for Jesus in the spiritual.

A hope, A family, A future.
