Immigration Visa updates

10/11/2018

I am leaving soon to return to Africa to see my children and to the ministry God called me to many years ago. I wanted you to know what is happening and how to Pray for me.
We received the kids passports several months ago but lack the translated documents and social welfare documents from 2005 when I started the adoption process. I was not able to get these items in normal processing time so we applied to the courts and are waiting on the final document verification. I am believing for all of this to be completed soon and I will begin the US process for visas which can take months.
Keep praying with me for completion of this process so I can travel with my children, never to leave them behind again. Thank you for standing with me and covering me with prayer.

Still Waiting

ADOPTION UPDATE:

I have waited 12 years for the adoption of my children to be completed and I thought applying for their immigrant visa's  would be much faster but we are once again at a standstill and there is nothing to do but wait, pray, and give it all to Jesus.

We finally completed the name changes, obtained IDs with their new names, and put in for passports about 5 months ago. Normally passports take a few weeks, but there has been a problem throughout Mozambique immigration's as the company they use ran out of passport booklets and they had to find another company. Each office chooses their own company and after months of waiting in the city with no results, our process was transferred to our local town immigration's office, where we have been waiting for over 3 month. We need passports to travel to South Africa to have a bone age test to prove Enia’s age, as there is no record of her birth but her biological mother says she was born in November of 2000. Please pray with us for the passports to come soon.

We have also been waiting for 5 months for documents of the adoption process to be translated. The truth has come out that the translator took my money but his license had expired so he could not do the  work . There is very little I can do in this country to get my money back so I've had to hire another translator and just hoping the paperwork comes back soon.

I need your prayers!!!! We do not have a lot of time, and I battle losing hope daily. WE are talking about the chance for Enia to immigrate to America and time is slipping away. I am giving it to God daily and know that He has a plan. My mother's love and heart gets overwhelmed and I have to fight fear. Thank you for your prayer support. I do not know what I would do without the prayers of the saints.

 Blessings
Angie

As of today I continue to wait on important and necessary paperwork to move forward in the immigrate visa process. Time is short and all paperwork needs to be in by next Friday.

We are still unsure of all that needs to happen once the  paperwork is sent in or a time frame needed to receive visas. Pray for me that peace would flood my heart, mind and soul, firmly trusting Jesus no matter what the situation looks like.
Thank you all so much for standing with me and holding up my arms in prayer and giving me peace of knowing that I am not alone in this struggle.

Thank you and God bless you!

Mountains

Matthew 17:20 Says, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say, "Mountain Move" and it will move. "

I had a phone consultation with an immigration lawyer this week and found out that we have another big mountain standing in the way of my kids immigration visas. Each country has its own laws, age limit, and quantification. Some of our hurdles in Mozambique were equivalent to US standards and others were not.

I am not going to write specifics or the big barriers I am now facing because Enia may read this and I don't want discouragement to enter her heart, I want a mustard seed of faith to move this mountain.

Going forward could result in a positive or negative outcome. The lawyer was not without hope just gave little hope. Going forward with this process and the cost are difficult knowing there is not a certainty. Giving up is not my nature, not what I want ......I must try.

I always need your prayers as what I do here in Mozambique is hard and overwhelming at times. This is harder because it's my kids, 2 beautiful amazing children.
Please pray with me and let's watch God move these mountains.

Thanks
Angie

Waiting again

No one was aware that in order the change the kids name, which has to be done before new birth certificates, ID's or passports can be issued, was another court process. We have completed the first part which took over a week and now its in the judges hands for a week waiting on her signature.  So we are in the waiting phase again.
We are praying we receive all these documents by Tuesday. We will then start moving forward for visas!

Keep Praying!

Name Changes

Once I had official adoption papers, changing the kids names was next. Unaware that was a new process that has now been a 3 week wait. The kids advocate took all my personal information and permission was granted but after he signed it was sent to the court for the judge to sign, and we are still waiting.

Once that is complete my kids names, birth certificates and all ID's will read:

                ENIA RENÉE RAE WHEELER
                PETER CHRISTOPHER WHEELER

So we are back in the waiting game!
Kids are on school break, sleeping late, and visiting grandma each day playing with cousins.
Tonight we had pizza for dinner a big treat!!! (Tuesday's is buy one get one free day)
