One of the things I’ve learned after decades in missions is that communication is key—but it’s not always easy. Between teaching and training our youth and managing all the behind-the-scenes work, staying in touch with ministry partners can get overwhelming fast.
That’s why I started using cloudHQ.
✨ A Simple Tool That Works Where I Work cloudHQ works right inside Gmail, where I already do most of my communication. I didn’t have to learn a new system or juggle multiple platforms. It just worked—and in a life that’s already full, that makes a big difference.
Here’s how I use it:
💡 What I Use Right now,
I’m using the free version of cloudHQ. I’ve customized templates and even run an email campaign through Gmail. It’s helped me save time, look more organized, and stay consistent with communication—even on hard days.
There’s so much more this tool can do, and I’m still learning. But even what I’ve learned so far has made ministry life smoother.
🧡 Just Being Real
I'd love to try the upgraded version someday. But right now, I have to prioritize the needs of our 11 teenage boys, continue leading the ministry, and be present for my family.
Like many who serve in missions or ministry, I wear a lot of hats. And when I find something that truly helps lighten the load, I want to share it.
If you’re able to upgrade, I believe it’s a great investment. But if not, start where I did—with the free version. It works. And it helps!

Here’s how I use it:
- Send thank-you notes that feel personal and professional
- Share ministry or project updates without starting from scratch
- Invite people to connect, give, or collaborate
- Keep things clear, even when the workload is anything but
